We manufacture two types of wheel lifter, both of which are designed to fit the popular megamount 701XL model.

The first, pictured top, is the ‘Crane’ lift. This version enables the operator to locate the rim into the jaws of the turntable without any effort whatosever.

The second, the ‘platform’ lift pictured below, raises the wheel to turntable height ready for locating onto the
turntable. The ‘platform’ type is more common and certainly offered by many of our competitors, and appears on the surface as a bit more visually appealing. However, in our opinion, the ‘crane’ lift offers far more versatility.

 

The Airgo Lift provides a simple, effective method of raising the wheel to the shaft height of the balancer without any physical effort. A foot pedal enables the operator to action the lift, which is powered by the revolutionary air-bag principle. The sliding deck then enables the operator to slide the wheel over the shaft.

Finally, the ‘bounce’ effect of the Airgo enables the wheel to be moved up or down for precise location of the rim onto the cone or locating pins when using flange plates.
