New ‘Partnership’ for Micheldever and Hofmann Megaplan

Micheldever Tyres have chosen Hofmann Megaplan as a preferred supplier for equipment following an extensive evaluation of their products. Micheldever, who operate a vast quantity of retail sites under the Micheldever and Pro-Tyre banners, had taken the decision to review their equipment supply source and as such had trialled machines from a number of manufacturers. The Hofmann Megaplan equipment, in particular the hugely popular megamount 701XL tyre changer and megaspin 800 TFT balancer, performed to their complete satisfaction and received positive reviews from those who put the machines through their paces.

“I am delighted with the outcome of the trials”, commented Hofmann Megaplan MD James Boon, “Although I have complete faith in the performance and reliability of our machines compared to others on the market, there is of course a price premium that reflects this. It’s testament to the standard of our equipment that Micheldever have seen the value in paying that little bit more”.

Staff from the wholesale division of Micheldever Tyres recently attended Hofmann Megaplan’s Huntingdon HQ for product training, and equipment will form part of their product portfolio for their vast number of trade accounts.
