Originally custom-designed for use in the Worlds busiest tyre site, the megamount 802XLS has gone on to become the first choice for OEM facilities and those tyre shops who simply want the best.

 

 

 

Everything about the 802XLS is over-engineered. From the triple locking of the demount head (we are pretty sure this makes it the most rigid mounting/demounting tool on the market), to the famous QuadraClamp turntable, the 802XLS simply has no room for improvement.

An over-sized chassis means it can cope with handling rims up to 28” in diameter, and the extra tall turret means even the widest motorsport rims can be handled comfortably. Although this model was really aimed at a specific marketplace, (somewhere in between multi-million pound automated machines and conventional tyre changers), it is incredible how it has also been adopted by a large number of tyre shops and alloy wheel specialists who simply want the best equipment money can buy. It is due to this popularity that the price of the 802XLS, which previously carried a price tag that reflected it’s built to order, industrial status, has come down to within a shout of a regular high performance tyre changer. In fact, when equipped with the ‘evolution’ lever-less device, it makes our competitors lever-less machines look overpriced and under spec’d!

All in all, when you consider the life expectancy you could expect from the 802XLS, and the fact that we have visited machines after 5 years of hard service that still ‘feel’ like new, we reckon it’s the most sensible investment a busy tyre shop could ever make.
