Luxus Commercial Vehicle Play Detectors, (shaker plates) are available as a fixed, in-ground version, or as an on-floor solution.

The in-ground play detector is ideal for light and heavy vehicles, buses and coaches with an axle load up to 18,000kg. The suspension components can be extended to their maximum range, enabling the detection of defects at an early stage. Installing the system in-ground next to a workshop pit is advised for reasons of spatial efficiency and convenience.

The on-floor alternative enables workshops without a pit to conduct steering and suspension play diagnosis in an efficient and precise manner. Four hot-galvanized ramps and a robust frame provide enough clearance to thoroughly and comfortably diagnose play in suspension components. The flat frame design facilitates the use of short ramps, which minimise the space requirement. It can also be combined with a Luxus BT306 on-floor/mobile brake tester.
