Class 4 and Class 7 MOT/ATL Lifts

Whether you’re looking to replace a lift in an existing MOT bay or build a completely new facility, we have a range of options to suit all requirements.

All of our 4 Post MOT and ATL lifts are manufactured 100% in Spain by Cascos because they are one of the longest serving lift manufacturers to UK testing standards existing. Cascos began manufacturing lifts in the 1960s and has been manufacturing lifts specifically for UK MOT Testing ever since – we believe their experience and build quality is second to none.

To this day, Cascos still have one of the few 4 Post Lifts that will fit into the recesses and MOT bays of the smallest bays, making them an ideal replacement for those mature testing facilities working on ‘Grandfather Rights’. At the other end of the product range, and more recent criteria, Cascos have a premium quality ATL lift range which offers the most refined product in its sector. In fact, Cascos were one of the first companies to be involved with ATL lifts when they supplied the entire Japanese market as far back as 2004, when most European manufacturers’ products were still in their infancy.

Class 4 MOT Lifts

The current range of Class 4 lifts includes:
• C431MOT – 3200kg Capacity and 4.1m Platform Length, front recesses for turnplates
• C441MOT – 4000kg Capacity and 4.335m Platform Length, front recesses for turnplates
• C441MOTATL – 4000kg Capacity &and 4.335m Platform Length – includes turnplates and shaker plates
• RAV 635NIMOT4, ATL Scissor – 3500kg Capacity & 4.6m Platform Length – includes turnplates and shaker plates

However, if space allows, it could be worth considering a slightly higher investment, to install a larger Class 7 lift, as this will give you extra flexibility should you wish to use the lift for additional mechanical work.

Class 7 ATL MOT Lifts

A Class 7 MOT lift has to be significantly bigger and have a greater lifting capacity, in order to cope with vans of 3,000 to 3,500kg but there are still a selection of lifts to choose from.

The current range of Class 7 lifts includes:
• C451MOT – 5000kg Capacity & 5.2m Platform Length, front recesses for turnplates
• C451MOTATL – 5000kg Capacity & 5.325m Platform Length – includes turnplates and shaker plates
• C451XLMOTATL – 5000kg Capacity & 5.7m Platform length – includes turnplates and shaker plates
• T5.5, ATL Scissor – 5,500kg Capacity & 5.2m Platform Length – includes turnplates and shaker plates

Note: ATL denotes a lift that is designed for Automated Test Lane applications and includes turnplates and shaker plates as standard.

Dual Revenue Lifts

Have you considered a Dual Revenue MOT Bay, which includes a dual purpose wheel alignment and MOT lift? When combined with a suitable wheel alignment unit, this allows you to undertake highly profitable wheel alignment checks and adjustments when the MOT bay is free.
